Greatings from the Netherlands

Post by Offroadrunner » Sun May 06, 2012 9:49 am

Hi there,

My name is Harold, and i live in the Netherlands. I have a LJ80Q, which is my daily driver. I use the LJ every day to go to my work, and in the weekends i will join lots of LJ80 meetings in the Netherlands and in Germany. I think i drive about 15.000 - 20.000 km each year with my LJ80.

I restored my LJ80 16 years ago, i bought a fiberglass body from Weiss Design which fitted perfectly! And my LJ80 is still in great shape!

Last summer my engine broke in France... so i mounted a 1000cc engine from a SC100. And last week i mounted discbrakes in front and rear on my LJ80. A great improvement!

Welcome to the site! What a beautiful LJ80! Thank you for sharing it, do you have any more pictures? I like the original wheels in the first picture, they are quite difficult to get hold of in the UK

Thanks Tramp!
Check out my website for more pictures. It's in Dutch, but pictures don't talk a language ;-)
In the top left corner is a button to translate the site to (for example) English language!

The original 16" wheels are a bit rare overhere too, and most of them are rusted badly...

Great LJ great website, I had a browse but struggled to keep it translated on my mobile phone so a lot of the text was lost on me! Was it easy to fit the LJ fiberglass body? I've always wondered about the fiberglass body kit, do you have any pictures of it being fitted? It looks like there are quite a few die hard LJ followers do you have any Suzuki meet up's where you drive offroad together?
