but what makes this sj so special "its the only one in the country" but i thought the factory diesel sjs used a different engine ?

only one in the country? yea right i know of at least two others with 1.9 diesel engines near me.. plus it cant be factory engine surely else car and engine would have same mileage..? :er:
if in doubt, FLAT OUT!

mans tool kit > duct tape, wd40 and a bfh is all you ever need

exactly what i thought my sj i had a 1.9tdi in it until i blew it up :lol:

This guy clearly doesn't know his stuff or he's lying about something. If it was one of the rare factory fitted diesels, it would be a 419. I know of an SJ near me fitted with a 1.7TD Isuzu/Vauxhall diesel engine. The only chance he's got of it being the 'only one in the country' is if it's a really obscure engine, like a mini-tractor engine or maybe an American engine.

The punter: hello, do you know any other car with a turbo diesel 1.9?

me:
yes i do my sj had a diesel engine in it until i blew it up , a 1.9 turbo diesel turbo is a very common modifcation on the sj seen...
if you google suzuki sj413 diesel engine conversion loads come up...


now just waiting for a reply :lol:
