I,ve just brought me first Sj but can't find vin due to replating ,done hpi on it alls good have no paperwork at all just the reg number and engine number is there any way I can get vin using that ? Help :(

The Vin should stamped on the outside of the right chassis rail under the front wheel arch. it'll probably be quite well hidden under the paint or a coating of underseal usually though
by replating do you mean it doesn't have th original plate? The vin plate is usually rivited just inside the drivers door at the front between the speaker and the door.

iPad won't up load photo but if someone emails me I,ll sent one to put up (
princer132@aol.com).Cant find one on chassis and had new footwells so no plate inside either.

Cheers guys just got grinder on chassis to clear layers and layers of undersell and found it

Thanks for that she's not bad little bit of work and it will be good as new
