Ok So my last project never really got going too much rust and not enough time to fix it.
However in my search for parts for the Bucket i ended up bidding on a tatty looking Samurai sport on Ebay.
Had a few bumps here and there and first impressions didn't look good. Was going to kill it for parts, but after digging a little deeper seems the shell is in pretty decent nick underneath. Sills have been replaced but a decent job has been done. Floors are good, only rust is in the wheel arches which are going to get chopped out anyway.

only got it into the workshop last weekend and started work.
Got a fair pile of parts to go into this. including....
6 point Safety Devices roll cage
Pair of Hilux Mk3 axles
2x Limited slip diffs to go in the axles
Toyota Ifs steering box
Hilux Prop shafts
35 x12.5 15 Kumhos on 10j rims
anus C.J springs
Grand vitara 2.0 Hdi Engine and Transmission (possibly dual transfer cases)
Bushwacker flares
Plan is to build a road legal truck which i can have some serious fun in off road. Not going to be too pretty, but should be lots of fun.
Haven't taken too many pictures yet but if people are interested i'll keep the camera down the workshop.
First job was the roll cage. Had to cut an inch of the legs of safety devices cage, as the cage was built for a hardtop. Fabricated new feet out of 1/4inch plate, got that all bolted in. fits a treat.
Next job was to strip off the standard rear suspension and begin mocking up for the new axles and suspension.
Made up some spring pads and bolted up the C.j springs and lux axle. Going to sit a bit lower than in the pictures but you get the idea.

The red tintop is currently in hibernation, going to finish this build then drag it out and give it a birthday. Scottie its not another s.j was the bucket before it got scrapped.
The wheel arches and some other goodies arrived today so going to start the cutting tomorrow.
