Hi all, I'm Brad 23 from London! I've bought a fat boy vitara for a winter car, but im looking to use to for greenlaning and some off road fun!

Im new to the whole 4x4 although a few friends have pajero's and hilux's!

I'm a reall newb when it comes to modding them, so far i've looked at pickup conversion, 2" lift and bigger wheels! i have no idea where to start, much help will be very appreciated! I only picked her up last night (£360!) so didnt manage to get any pics as it was dark!

The sooki - It's white (soon to be arctic camo) :D Its got the full fat boy features, wide arches, 10j wheels bull bars and side steps, its got wind deflectors, tinted windows all round, LED side lights and drl lights. also has blue dash and clock lights and some cheapo tacky aftermarket gear nobs and handbrake lever! its got 8 months mot and 3 months tax on it! i thought it was a bargain! although the headgasket needs work, but i can do that this weekend!

Hi all and i hope to meet a few fellow owners soon!!

welcome
the first thing is tyres, a good set of mud tyres will do wonders.
then you may need to lift it to fit really big tyres though.
i have a soft top and i am going to convert it to a pick up but that is for the future.
the trouble is there are lots of things you can do, some better than others, depends on what you intend doing with it, mild to extreme.
good luck

Probably just mild offroading, as i still need it to be road capable lol.

Hi and :welcome: to SCUK

like already said if you only want some gentle laneing then stick to the standard suspension for a while and just stick some decent tyres on it that still have some road ability. your biggest problem might be finding some tyres that are small enough to fit without too much lift but can handle the width of the fatboy wheels.
