Hi,

I thought I better introduce myself, here.
I have Suzukis but not same kind as you boys&Girls here.
I'm into street than off road!

So here goes:-
I have following.
'68 Mini Super delux 1000 with Suzuki Swift Gti engine with R1 carbs.(being built for over 10 years)
'74 Mini Midas which will have Suzuki Swift Gti turbo with RWD setup.(next project)
'87 Suzuki Swift Gti which has Justy running gear(AWD) with turbo.(my mate is building it as I will never finish)
My wife has Ignis

So you can see that I like Suzuki!
Oh I helped my mate import Monster Tajima's Rally cross car which is Suzuki Cultus AWD.

Cheers
Atchi

Whats the performance like on the R1 carbed GTi engine compared with the standard fuel injection setup?

Well, I have Group A camshafts, LSD, port and polished cylinder head to go with ti.
My mate who had same mod told me he had about 138Bhp but mine is slightly higher CR. SO should be good for 140Bhp.
The turbo engine I'm building will be 250-300Bhp. I know few people built their engine to spec I want and running 320Bhp. So I will be happy with 300Bhp from 1300cc!

Cheers
Atchi

:welcome2: to :suzuki: club UK

Will be good to have someone on board who's got experience in tuning the swift 16v dohc, I'm currently deciding between that engine or an ignis sport M15a for my Lwb build, its going to be a daily drive that will be lowered and probably won't see any mud so I want at least 100bhp in it.
