New shocks arrived...need a quick pointer
Well the new Vit rear shocks turned up today...the thing is how do I get the top turret tube off? I'd like to have the chrome bit showing, looks cool and easier to keep the mud off!

You could try grinding that dimple or cut round at the top

I would guess that dimple is a spot weld too.
