well here i am
hello peeps wolly put me onto this place as diffcock was starting to annoy me some what. i have a 1.3 sammi and its a van. i used to have a sammi a few years ago. running 31s and 3 inch body lift it looked good and drove really well. this one tho is gonna be slightly different as i have more funding now.
the plan so far
well gonna go spring over axle with 2 inch body lift running 33s and a full external cage fitted with bucket seats in the front with harnesses. i am not bothered at the minute about winches and stuff as all that can come later. ill post some pics as soon as i figure out how lol
now lets all persuade wolly to get another sj

welcome!
we'll persuade wolly, it won't take long once he sees the pictures on here
sounds like you got the plan going on there, I hope it'll turn out as you hope, it's easier to think of something than actually do it sometimes. have a look around at some of the builds, and get some ideas. I don't think you'll need to lift the sammy that much for 33s, just cut the arches somewhat, you'll see in the builds what I mean exactly

It's not a question of how much you spend on your suzuki, but when your money will run out

Welcome to SCUK.
Are you starting with a standard SJ? Or has it already been modded by previous owner?

its a completly standard van never been messed with lol. wolly will be helping me. and as for lifting i like the look of a massive lift so its more for that than to fit the tyres in. no rush on it just for now. gonna do everything before i mot it. but things change so who knows
Re: well here i am

Massive lift = High COG = Lying on side a lot
People seem to get carried away lifting some SJs. Its surprising what size tyres can fit on very little lift.

Re: well here i am
i think looking at it that the spring over will be enough for the look i am after and i think with 33s with spacers i should be ok for stability. i may just end up with 31s and a 2 inch body lift but who knows
