new member saying hi

Post by Marc » Fri Oct 18, 2013 5:57 pm

Well, a friend and I have just bought a sj410 (which we pick up tomorrow) and we are planning to do a charity rally to Mongolia in July 2014. I will post a picture tomorrow.

If your using the SJ in your avatar I'm disappointed, I was watching it on eBay and it looked like a really nice early/tidy zook and if it's going to Mongolia, chances are it's not coming back

Tramp and Dazerede, don't worry guys we intend on driving it both there and back. It might not be quiet as shiny when it returns but I hope it will be running just as well as it is now

that's good news then! I was worried for its fate for a little while, what I liked about this SJ is that it has the original decals fitted (like on the front of the SJ book 'the enthusiasts companion') and that it's an early one - although it has a plastic dash and I'd have thought it should be a metal type, don't forget to post more pics, you never see a car properly on eBay
