Re: Fwb's SJ410 Build
I would love to run those tyres but think of the strain on the 410 diffs and axles. I wouldn't even last 5mins. Prob going to run 31s-33s as will share a set of MUDs with my hilux surf as I converted my sj to 6stud. Actually working on it tonight making the bullbar currently on the truck tacked toge...

Re: Fwb's SJ410 Build
Haven't had a chance to do much lately but thought I would throw up some details. Moved house which was a mission forgot how many tools and parts I had. Managed to get the Rollcage mostly mounted and rocksliders almost finished. Got my new wheels spacers and stole the flatmates wheels for a laugh. I...

I have a small hand held sand blaster I using for the annoying bits but most of it I'm sanding by hand with wet and dry. Instead of masking the tyre you can cut a4 paper into quarters and yuk ...

Re: Let's play a Game! What part is this?
My answer not close enough? I have never even seen a lj before so I thought was pretty damn good. Only reason I guessed those is due to the rating on the bolt had to be something strong. Could also be a gearbox mount bolt possibilly. I am going to say transfer case no idea why other then it's more l...

Re: Let's play a Game! What part is this?
It's a high tensile bolt of some kind with s rubber bushing
Could be a transfer case bolt.
Has no hexagonal head though.
Could also be a lead spring bolt

Re: 35s?
Yeah but samurai axles are extremely rare over here in Nz. I ultimately want to convert my sj to coil sprung on samurai axles. Run 33s or bigger with chromoly shafts etc. but don't know how practical it will be due to prices

Re: 35s?
They aren't my tyres unfortunalty they are my flat mates just sat them there for a pic. They are 35/10.5/15simex extreme tyres. Mines a 410 and won't fit will hit the leafs.
