The SJ at P&P today
The SJ at P&P today
Took the Zooks over to a friends farm today for a few hours.
The guys were impressed with how capable the SJ was, although I did feel very unsafe and inadequate in it, trying to follow the lines of some of the bigger trucks. All the axle twisters and bomb holes just swallowed up my little truck.

Looks like good fun was had.
Swear I've seen that Frontera in the background parked up in Berkshire a lot?

Flexes up quite well for a near enough standard truck

Seems to flex better than the yellow frontera too! Just goes to show that coils don't always beat leafs...

I couldn't work that Frontera out. It was kitted out to cross the Sahara Desert, but looked like it struggled around a bit of UK woodland.
I think it was the weight of the cage in all honesty. 500kg of roll cage!

Yeah, and that frame out the back seems to reduce its exit angle a lot, making it a somewhat useless vehicle for mudding. It'd be ok for sand dunes though, if it doesn't sink.
I have a feeling he's still got his anti roll bars connected. I think that's why he doesn't get any suspension droop.
