I don't rate them much. Not very good in mud, they were okay on the rocks, but I've had a better tyre. The road wear was very quick too.

Superb! Loving the vids! Dual lockers are the way to go if you really want to bring out the best in your SJ.

I couldn't drive mine without being twin locked. They're very valuable on the trail.
Gearing is probably the best thing you can do though!
P.S. Your avatars are spinning me out something serious

Got some more work done.

I'm giving a clamp style spring perch a go. It should gain me some clearance and stop the damage to the nuts and threads of the bolts.

I've done clamp style perches before, they did need the bolts checking more than with U-bolts but they worked well.

Your right. I used 6mm plate for mine, and it's surprising how it bends due to tightening up. Maybe it's because I've had the axle off so many times recently.

I was thinking of making a couple of uprights say 2mm shorter than the spring stack height, so it doesn't gradually bend the plates from tightening as easily. My lower plates are 10mm, as I know they're gonna eat rock.

I welded on a lip on my lowers to add a bit of strength and stop them bending up, my lower plates were 6mm I think? 10mm should be ok.
