Anyone had any proper snow?

Post by NylonAdmiral » Tue Feb 03, 2015 10:27 am

Looks like a few of us have had a little snow down here in Wiltshire. Unfortunately it’s barely enough to get excited about but still couldn't resist the scenic route to work this morning. Anyone had any proper snow?

It really snowed down here in East Anglia and was settling very well, but all the snow has gone from the roads so basically no playing session today. But will take my metal detector down to the local sledge run later as that is usually a good time for some decent gold pickings.

You can see from the depth of the tread on my tires that we barely had a few mm. I'd have been happy with two inches :)

Maybe we could have a snow themed POTM?

Same as tramp as he's only down the road... Boxing day got a good few inches, and last week it settled for all of a day.. snowed last night & this morning but just a very light covering.

Plenty in Peaks & out Buxton/Matlock way as a few people were out in there bland rovers up there at the weekend! Need to get my finger out and finish the SJ really..

There's enough in Humberside to do doughnuts so I'm good.
There's three ways of doing things:

The right way,
The wrong way
And my way, which is like the wrong way but faster.

It has snowed south of me, north of me, West of me, and (I believe) East of me recently, possibly all at the same time. Damned London puts out too much waste heat though, and so it just won't snow here!
