Well, I'm not mega far from Sevenoaks (used to drive past Sevenoaks regularly on my way to see my gran in Horsham, or when I went offroading in E.Grinstead).
That and a timing light and you should be golden. Although, saying that, I haven't had mine through an MOT since tuning, so I might be well out on the CO2 etc. So bear in mind I don't know for sure if the colourtune system is good enough!
I had a gunson gastester digital, but it was the most unreliable thing I've ever tried to use. Completely useless.

My brother is the chief bloke at CCK Classic Cars of Kent, they are in High Hurst Wood just past Crowborough, (sussex) They used to be in kent hence name. They have a rolling road and are able to set and tune carbs up. I don't know how much they charge tho.

Thanks Anton, I think I'll sort a new MOT first and see what comes out of that. It seems to run well (60 mile round trip yesterday, all sweet) so checking it's close and legal would be a decent start I think. After that then look at finer tuning (or solving bigger problems re emmissions, all depending).

Re: another SU conversion
Not to boast or anything... but here in malta you only have to get under 7.5% CO2, instead of the UK's 3.5%!
Even I can get under 7.5% lol

Re: another SU conversion
I had to lean mine off to pass emissions, but my timing was way out at the time. And being a 1985, I only have to get under 4.5%.

Re: another SU conversion
You guys would love our emissions too, if it doesn't blow smoke you pass A straight pipe is also an acceptable replacement to a cat converter too
