Hiya dCAS,
If i havent welcomed you to the forum , then :welcome:

Yer, i knew that Suzuki did do some SJ's with a automatic gearbox, now they are extremely rare to find any, I just wished that i had the money at the time to buy the one i saw many years ago.

A lot of landrovers are automatic, some people actually prefer them for offroading because it means you've pretty much always got both hands free to do the steering, and they are almost impossible to stall!

only problem with the old auto is it like to change gear half way up a hill an you dont have engin breaking down hill as it disengages the clutch when a touch the brake. land rover has a cpu wich tell the box when to change an if is on ice mud up or down hill an runs a program accordingly.
