Well...I went to the physio today only to be told I don't have an appointment. What? Apparently the girl I booked it with has now been fired as this is the nth time she has done this...gives appts then doesn't enter them in the surgeries pc. So I ask for the physio to call me and she does. I get some codeine emailed to my local Boots and an appt in 3 days to see her. OK this stuff works..a little to well. Having trouble typing this as I am stoned out of my gourd. Hope it lets me finally sleep...

Hope it's helping you feel better! Just don't try riding off into the sunset (moonlight?) while you're on that stuff!

Yes it works but at 5am I needed to get up for a wee...and hit the base of my spine on the wooden corner of the bed. Spent over an hour curled up on the floor in total agony and quite unable to move...and of course I froze as well as the heating was off. So today was a write off...can't really walk at all and can't sit down either as it kills my back. Going back to the docs and I'll ask for acupuncture...it worked for a friend so fingers crossed. And this has taken 20 minutes to type as I have to stand up every 20 seconds or so...I've hurt myself badly in the past but I have never known pain like this..

Never had that, but I've known people who do. Hope you feel better soon, buddy!

Ouch! Really sorry to hear dude! Sounds like you are having a rough time at the moment. I know it sucks and is boring but try to give yourself a week or so to heal before going near the bikes or cars again. It will be worth it in the long run!

The problem with sciatica is the sitting down...it hurts after maybe 1 minute and you have to stand up again...and that hurts to do. A lot. So all I am doing at the moment is stuff I can do standing up! Back to the docs on friday and I will ask for pain killing spinal injections and maybe acupuncture too.
