Message for Edweird - shell rebuilds.

Post by Jerry Atrick » Tue Jun 02, 2015 9:07 am

Hi. I see you do shell rebuilds and you aren't too far from me. My old thunder-bucket runs like a well oiled watch but the body is becoming a bit embarrassing. (I couldn't find an e-mail address for you). Could I bring it over to you with a view to a quote for a thorough sorting-out of the shell?

Think you've got your wires crossed somewhere boss.

Ed's Zuk is in need of some TLC but he hasn't got time / facilities to do it. Think at some point he's looking to have someone do it for him / help him out with doing it.

Oh, I see. It was a pun.

Jordi's right. My SJ's in a rough state and I'm hoping to be able to save up enough money and have Scott or someone else on here who does have the time/skills/equipment to put her right.
There's three ways of doing things:

The right way,
The wrong way
And my way, which is like the wrong way but faster.

I'm not going to be taking on any big jobs for other people for a long time now....I need to get on with personal projects as I have spent the last few years doing other people's leaving me no time for my own

How bad is the damage? may be worth taking a punt and it and borrowing or buying a cheap welder and having a crack at it yourself?

if i was to repair one for someone id ask for a fair bit of of money as its a pig of a job ( depending on rust) where as your time is free hahaa
