Cool, just wanted to make sure as it read as if you trailered it to a byway to use it.

You won't regret fitting samurai axles

no as it was a bit poorly I though it may be a good idea to have some insurance against it breaking!

Picking the axles up Friday minus the diffs but Im lead to believe my 413 Diffs will fit in. Just need to work out how to fit them! I assume the half shafts will need to be removed partially to get the shafts in the splines on the diff?

Yeah, pull your half shafts out and undo all the bolts around the diff. Half shafts can be pretty stubborn. Do it with the axle still in the Zuk on good ground sat on decent axle stands.

Might need a tap with a copper mallet just to break the seal with the housing.

If you have access to a slide hammer...use it to pull the rear shafts, it's the quickest and easiest thing to use.

The copper pipes are male both ends, the two rubber flexie pipes that go from the chassis to the axle are both female both ends (or that's how mine were before I swapped in Samurai axles and went rear discs).

Yeah its the rubber ones I need to get made up longer.

I also kinked the steel ones to try and regain my front brakes but that didn't work so ill have to make them too :pissed:

literally owned this thing about 5 weeks now and its done 100 miles. I dread to think what I've spent on it. Snorkel came from euro4x4 so that's better news

I got Dave at Llama 4x4 to make me up braided ones...

As for what you've spent, don't think about it. I try not to think about what I've spent, if I did I'd just cry and cry... :P

I'm quite lucky we have a hydraulic hose place on the doorstep so hoping they will be cheap. 70 for a set is a bit steep however those llama ones are reasonable so cheers for the link!
I'm going to strip my brake lines/diffs Thursday and hopefully have it back on the sammy ones Friday!
