carb issues

Post by sj j » Sat May 07, 2016 4:52 pm

Hi, I have been running a Nikki carb for a few years now but last time out it was badly down on power
Problem seems to be knackered plunger on the pump and I cant find a replacement part. So I'm looking for a replacement carb but not sure which direction go.
I do have a weber adapter and some spare carbs from a 2 litre pinto but not heard great reports on webers for extreme offroading and also not sure if that size carb will even work on a 1.6?

I would go SU HIF44 carb.... worth the money for a manifold from Rockwatt 100%

As Twiss said.

Hiff 44s are a superb carb for off roading. Even work with no dash pot screws in if you keep the revs on.

Yes of course, the vacuum hold the carb together :)

Another vote for a Rockwatt manifold and an SU here!

Totally worth the money.
