Bit of a rascal!

Post by stevepsj413 » Thu Jun 23, 2016 8:34 pm

So, with my 2nd kja on the back burner until I can find a LWB chassis I've been looking for something else to fill the workshop. Saw this Bedford rascal on ebay and had a cheeky last minute bid on it....
And I won it. Been and paid for it and off to go get it when my mates free with his trailer.
Looks like the workshops full again then! I know its not quite a suzuki, but it is apart from the badges, it is a F10A after all.
If anybodys interested I can do a build thread on this wrongly badged suzuki when I get it.
Anyway, heres the pics from ebay.

Tidy dismantling, was the owners original plan to part it out then?

The previous owner was going to restore it, but he's moving house and theres no room for it where he's off. He had another one that he stripped for spares so theres lots of bits there twice. Should keep me busy, it came with a haynes manual so I guess thats like the instructions and its just like a big meccano kit!

Weld up the holes, put it back together, paint it a nice colour, then MOT it and use it as my sunday driver.
Going to keep it standard for the moment and see what its like. Just want it back on the road really, theres far too few of these driving about.
