Re: the no dosh LJ revamp
Sit rep. The LJ is performing perfectly. Starts first time every time. Faster than the Vit (by a mile) and more economical. OK she's not as comfy, has a heater that is basically useless and rattles and shakes all over the place. But I love the old girl and she draws more looks than any other car out there..and still surprises a few at the traffic light Grand Prix!
I have to sell one and there is no way (in my heart) that I could bear to be without the LJ.
The Vitara's MOT expires in about 2 months and I'll get a new one and then Ebay time I guess. I know I won't get what she's worth but I really can't afford to run 2 zooks, much as I'd like to.
I'll be very sad to see her go. If anyone here wants a very reliable and well sorted Vit let me know. Rather sell her here than to some git on the bay.

Re: the no dosh LJ revamp
Not at the moment as she looks exactly the same. I am planning on doing the bodywork sometime soon and respraying it all properly though...and I need to sort out the very annoying rattly hood frame. And getting both sets of doors to close properly. And wire up the oil pressure gauge. And make up a front winch mount. And a rear one. And fit the winches. And cut and re weld the side bars and fit them. And junk the crap silencer and fit side exiting cherry bombs (one each side just for the hell of it). And make up some rear speaker pods. And find a decent heater that will fit. And weld a cross brace on the bonnet so it sits straight.
