At least if you know what yours is like, you buy a ready modified one, and you don't know how much it's been ragged offroad.

I know that a little old lady who used to potter to the shops owned mine - guessing by the little dents in the doors!

Why do you want the lift kit?

Could you consider doing a Virtual lift? It's probably the best type of lift you can do if you want slightly bigger tyres, and there's no change to the mechanical parts.

One of the members on here (Ju) has 31" tyres on his, he virtual lifted it. Don't *think* he did a suspension/body lift. Looks ace.
1985 SJ413VX (SJ50V) with SPOA, rear disc brakes, 31x10.5R15 Kaiman Malatesta tyres, an MOT and a lot left to do!

You think it's possible to get big tyres on with just a VL, scottie?

I've had a look and yes I think it would be possible to do a VL and get quite large tyres on with no lift, however mounting the trim after could be interesting.
