Thought about it. Lots of messing around. End up with a tube running through the cab.
With twin winches one can be used to anchor it if required.
At 28kg a winch its not a massive weight penalty having two.

Shouldn't have to run a tube through the cab, just a few guide hoops along the chassis if using synthetic rope.
What winches are you planning on running? Sounds light for a 9500lbs winch unless they are short drum winches, most standard size winches are 30-35kg even with synthetic rope.

Thought i'd start getting this ready for MOT and a few outings this year.
Starter motor fitted. Zero life.
Spare starter. Zero life.
Both sent off for a recon and / or replacement.

Yup. Not sure whats wrong. The one fitted was full of Wiltshire, hoping they will both refurb.

Refurbed starter fitted. Plus a spare.
Brakes all serviced, oil and filter changed.
MOT as soon as i have time.

I knew i needed to order something for MOT. Serviced it this morning.
Oil, brakes, filters, checked coolant and screen wash, all the lights. Still wasn't sure what i needed to order, then remembered. Wipers! I broke one several weeks ago.
