Screeching

Hi Guys,

Im getting a screetching when I hit the brakes.

Sounds like left side, That caliper has always been sticking ever since I took it out to clean the piston and damaged the seal putting it back in.

The pads however seem fine having looked at them today.

Do the back shoes get used when braking?

I also put up a post looking for a replacement caliper,

but could I maybe get the repair seal kit instead?

got a rebuild kit, but do the back breaks kick in when I hit the break pedal.

Im just wondering are the shoes gone?

All four wheel brake when u put ur foot on the peddle. If the shoes are shot you cud be getting metal on metal in the drum.
