High startup idle

When starting my 1995 EFI samurai from cold, it revs up and idles at close to 3000rpm at startup and wont drop untill the engines hot.
Any ideas on how to adjust this as i dont think its normal.

3000 sounds a bit high tbh, check all your vacuum hoses. if it turns out you need or want to try any electrical components to see if something is playing up then i've got at least 2 whole 1.3 spi set ups.

Thankyou, i may need to at some point. Iv stuck a fuse in the fault code slot and it there are no fault codes. It only does it from startup, when it has got warm and you restart the engine, it idles perfectly
