Engine not running right.

Hi everyone. Im after some advice
The last 3 times ive driven my sj410 ive had the same issue come up.
After 15mins or so of running it starts backfiring. And when i press the accelerator it bogs down and dies. Then i can leave it for 30 mins to an hour and it seems to run ok, then goes wrong again.
Any suggestions on what this might be would be greatly appreciated. My suspicions are points/condenser or ignition timing.

Sounds like the condenser could be breaking down. Points and a condenser would be the things I would start with. I used to keep a spare set in the glove box with some feeler gauges and a screwdriver when mine still has the f10 engine

Yeah a few people have suggested that. Ill order some later.
