changing the clock on main display etc

is it me, or is it a nightmare getting to the menus. I have turned the thing so many times, as the clock was wrong, time etc... nearly gave me a blister. or can it just be done just be pressing it in, although if so, mine does not change. I came across the menu by chance, but when trying again, I couldn't...

ok, just found a bit in the handbook... I needed to press and hold it for a few minutes.

should have read the manual first...
