HELP - '85 410 rear brake cylinders
MOT place told me I need to replace the rear brake cylinders next time (coming up soon) but there seem to be a few different ones. Mine's an un-modded '85 and I have the chassis number 075----V. I'm not equipped (or inclined) to strip the brakes down to get inside and look, don't even have a decent manual.
Can anyone advise exactly which cylinders I need please?
Any help much appreciated.

Will be hard to tell until you know what they look like and who manufactures them

Thanks Robbie, was afraid I'd have to do that. Need to getb hold of a decent manual, there used to be a digital one available here but the link died. The Haynes is fairly useless!

Usually safest to dismantle and ID the exact parts fitted Douglas.
Any jobs I am unsure of I usually have a look on youtube and see if there is a 'How To' video.

This sounds right up my street!! So, jack the back one side, h'brake off, remove wheel nuts and wiggle??
Even I could manage that.... ??

Thanks Robbie, done - may seem really basic to most here but I didn't know that trick and I was inside in no time, got an accurate reference of current cylinders so ordered a pair new. The MOT guys are fitting... I know my limits!!
just vac'd the heater box out too, time to fit the full hood I suppose - been using the bikini top.
Might wash it too.
Thanks again for help.

No, we're OK - been about a year, AND it has mud up the sides... barely legal
