Yes some tanks have a drain.

It’s really not needed though, realistically how often do you need to drain a tank? And if you do need to drain one it’s not hard to just syphon/pump the tank out.

I agree in principle ScottieJ but wondered why the Japanese, usually very logical, either had or did not have a drain fitted.
