Evening from the northwest. I'm from fleetwood and on the look out for an sj van after seeing everyone on here having a mental time. I'm not too bad with a spanner but new to 4x4's. I've got a classic mini pickup and a vw lt recovery truck too.
I'm looking forward to meeting as many of you as possible and having a good laugh

Hello and welcome, I must say... an SJ is the way to go if you want to get into 4x4 mechanics...
Nice and easy, mostly simple stuff... plus if you have a spare SU carb for a 1300 mini you can put it on a zook with great results!
Best of luck in locating an SJ

Thanx for the welcome guys really appreciate it. Seems i've got alot to learn about the sj's from looking around the forum but we've all got to start somewhere eh
I collect my first 1 in a couple of weeks from kent. Shold be a good test for the recovery truck i've recently purchased too. I'm going to be travelling from near blackpool to kent so if anyone needs a car or small van moving south give me a pm
