Following the grief i've had trying to sort the 410,s running problems(poor valves) I've gone and got a 413 lump c/w 5 speed box, paddle clutch facet fuel pump with weber carb. I've swapped engine mounts and gearbox mount from 970 but was wondering the 413 engine has electronic ingnition with 2 wires from the dizzy. which one goes where? They are black and yellow. I assume they both go to coil as ballst resistor is no longer needed?
Cheers all,
970 out 1300 in!

Piccie time again
I think you will need the 1.3 coil and yes you won't need that resistor.

Thats great! I don't have the noise suppressor but then I don't have a radio anyway! I have the 413 coil to use. Are the starter connections the same? I haven,t checked yet. I have the 413s radiator so it should be plain sailing(rose tinted specs on) as I have to have it finished by the 10th April for the last offroading session before Oct.

Yes starter motor wires are the same but leave the black/yellow wire that went to the coil unconnected/insulated.
