Just read the thread more carefully. I happen to be a bit more in the know about Astras than SJs actually, my Dad's a collector :lol:, though not so much the diesels engines unfortunately, but I could ask my Dad if you're really stuck.

By the looks that engine's either from a MK2 Van or a MK3.

I'd say check the head gasket before anything else. Possibly the turbo?

yeah thats one hell of an engine bay...... looks like the whole thing is gona turn into a mech and start shooting!

no the bucket seats came in it!! i havnt done anything do it yet

i think i might take it to the garage to put the diagnositc thingy on the pump and injectors then if that fails i think i might have to get the head done

is that a job i could attempt myself?? tomorrow is the start of the mission toget four wheel drive working gna start by taking off and cleaning out the free wheeling hubs
