10 points for anybody who can tell me how to adjust the idle on a nikki carb, as mine wont idle unles the throttle is just open.

I like my Nikki its cool with the lil glass window (i know im sad) may go SU in the future, but i get on fine when the nikki is set up properly

Have a look where your throttle cable attaches to the carb. Behind that point you will see a screw that rests on the idle cam/rod. Adjust this. It's a bastard to get to, and you will need to turn the engine off to adjust it. Turn it about a 1/4 turn at a time until it is right. The idle screw is labelled as 185 in the attache image.
