filling gearbox oil

filling gearbox oil

my samurais gearbox has no little or oil in it and before i use it i want to fill it, i got the oil but i just cant see where it goes in.
any help at how to find the place to put it in.

There will be a bolt on the side about 4"above the filler. I think it might be on the backplate but not 100%. You will either need an oil pump to get it on, or take the filler out and put oil in through the gear stick and watch till it runs out the filler hole. Henry

but where is the filler, and what sort of tool removes it?

left hand side of the box is a nut the same as the drain plug nut as henry said about 4" above the drain plug

no mate nice simple job shine a light up there an youll see it as said if you cant do it thru the filler, take filler nut out and gearstick out and fill thru gaerstick hole untill oil comes out of the filler hole
