millers tonka toy
Re: millers tonka toy
It's coming along nicely, I like the way a little bit is getting painted at a time, guess you haven't got enough time or space to do it all in one go.

Re: millers tonka toy
time for an update as it's been a while
painting was going well untill i got ill and then work got busy but have finnaly found some time to do some work
just got rear door left to paint and then it all started going down hill was on the way into town when at a roundabout it wouldn't go into gear luckaly it was down hill rolled it off the roundabout
after a tow home and some further investigating broken clutch and clutch arm so engine out whlst the engine was out i replaced the head and other gaskets and gave the engine and gearbox a good clean clutch fitted just waitng for clutch arm to arrive to fit and test

Re: millers tonka toy
well finally managed to find some time in workshop time today and got a few bits done
changed out my 2" shackles for the standard ones (i now have some 2" tarantula lift shackles for sale) whilst i had the shackles off i replaced the poly bushes that came out quite easily
is that normal
whilst i had it over the pit i re-tightened the bolts on the sump, checked diff oil levels greased all the props and u joints
drained and flushed the fuel tank and cleaned the filter some of the crap that came out off both
reconnected the retaining clip on the t box lever that had popped out whilst off roading a few weeks ago (that was a bit sacrey)
sorted out the ideal speed as it was a bit fast
