t-box breather: how did you do yours?
Hi im looking for the best way to fit a t- box breather, what did you use?
Suzuki, because life's to short to be fixing landrovers!

I originally used some airline and a jubilee clip, but it's a pain in the a*** to get to stay on sometimes.
Rockwatt drills and taps the case for a small airline fitting, you ideally need to strip the case to do this though to avoid getting any metal filings in it.

I did this too, you pull out the old 'cap' which gives you a hole perfect for a 1/4 bsp tap (if I remember correctly - ill check when I get in) you tap it (i tapped mine with the t box upside down so the swarf fell out ) then put a 90 degree adaptor in - a straight one fouls on the transmission tunnel so slimer the 90 the better,attach a bit of hose with a jubilee. jobs a fish

I put some grease in the flutes of the tap to "catch" the swarf, but keep removing it cleaning the tap and adding a bit more grease.

Cheers, ice just checked my tap 1/4 bspf the f just meaning fine, you can get fittings for both, I think I got mine from eBay, and remember to use some ptfe tape when you fit it!

i will be doing this the next time the box comes off, been wondering how people do it
