the original plan was to get a big ass plastic boat tank in a cage/frame secure it in jobs a gooden

but when on the dvla website and it says needs to be lockable

take it it means lock as in key etc , or dont it ?

or what petrol tanks do you suggest that have some form of locking cap devise built in them?

really finding this a headache :lol:

Old Land Rovers just have a hinged cover that locks down over the cap. You could make something like that easily and use a padlock like on this one:

The cap looks like this:

And then you have a hasp that flips over the top and then you put some kind of lock through one of the holes in the cap.
