410 top speed?

Post by nathan.stevens » Sun Apr 08, 2012 7:32 pm

just wondered if anyone knew what top speed 410's should realistically have?
the speedo in mine never worked the whole time i had it, but when i was following my mate back home from buying it, the engine blew up and he said we was touching 80 as it happened

but i've been looking for another one and a couple of the ads say they will only go 50?!
if anyone know's i'd like to know out of curiosity more than anything!

cheers, nathan

I did see 82mph on my old 410. Was a bit hairy!

Aye, but that's a Samurai. The Zooks seem to be able to go 10mph faster than Suzuki said they could. I've had my gauge go past 80mph in my 410 going downhill, but my gauge is about 10% optimistic. On flat the old girl will wind her way up to 75 on the gauge if pushed.
There's three ways of doing things:

The right way,
The wrong way
And my way, which is like the wrong way but faster.

i do prefer the f10a engine though, so revvy! bit biased though as my sammy used to surround me in a massive cloud of blue smoke when stopped in traffic, for no apparent reason haha.

Best I got on the GPS on 31" tyres was 74mph on completely stock engine and running gear.
