Re: AM I the youngest member
I was having a conversation with a guy at the local quarry about this actually a few months ago. The quarry's next to the local tip, so after emptying the trailer and the truck I trundled into the quarry to watch the guys playing in there. One chap came over and asked me about my truck, and then how old I was, then he said that it was "quite strange. Most folks who drive SJs seem to be younger or a similar age to their trucks."
The smaller engines might be a contributing factor, for insurance. It was for me to begin with, as Mums 300TDi was group 12, but after having driven one it was more because of how much better they are to drive. That said, the small engines are also more responsive and revvier than most off-road vehicle engines. SJs (and Vitaras) being smaller and light tend to bounce along rather than bog down and crawl too. Too much fun for old folks?

There's three ways of doing things:
The right way,
The wrong way
And my way, which is like the wrong way but faster.

You might have to ship one in from the US, Oz or Japan, not even sure if we ever got any did we?Highlander wrote:Edweird wrote:Most folks who drive SJs seem to be younger or a similar age to their trucks."
