If you have a brake line tool, king pin bearings, and something to make the arches out of you wanna give me.ScottieJ wrote:ready for an MOT by the end of this weekend
Shouldn't be long tho.
The vit rad cleared the bonnet by 3mm. Not bad for a guess.

Re: Dans Zook Build - Looks like a truck again!
Cheers for the positive comments
Have been working loads and long hours so progress on the truck has slowed.
She is now running like a dream and starts first time every time from her own battery!
Power steering is amazing. Dunno how I did without it! Had to modify the pipes as I snapped one trying to bend it into place and the rubber hosed part was pretty perished so just cut and shut the metal bits in the correct orientation. Was a bit concerned about potential leaks but all is good!
The bumper is finally finished and looking ace with the LED fittings fitted!
I also welded the holders from the old number plate lights to the tow bar brace to re-use the old lights.
Then got it all fitted up
Also got the rear door finished up
Cables for speakers, CB, and big reverse lamp to be hidden inside spare wheel all in the flexy pipe which will be fitted to the filler guard then all routed out of sight in the sill.
Hopefully the screening on the CB antenna can hold off the interference but if not then I will chuck in a switch to isolate the rear speakers when I wanna use the cb as it will be too loud anyway
Off mountain biking for 3 days so its on pause again!

Not finished yet.
Still needs the brake line that goes across the rear axle replacing and kingpin bearings changing.
Presume I will have to buy a kit for the kingpins rather than just finding some suitable bearings as I will need new shims because I removed them ages ago to improve the play and lost them?

Re: Dans Zook Build - Update 6th June
In that case does anyone (Darrell) know the size of just the bearings or a part number?
I'm away this weekend on a stag do but might take you up on that offer next week sometime.
