Post by andyrew » Fri Sep 07, 2012 8:10 pm

has anyone else noticed the amount of rather cheap sjs coming about?

there seems to be some well priced bargains turning up for sale. some are taxed and tested and sub £500.

Well, it's good and bad. It makes it cheaper to pick up doner/replacement trucks, but they're more likely to be scrapped.
There's three ways of doing things:

The right way,
The wrong way
And my way, which is like the wrong way but faster.

They do seem to fluctuate in price sometimes. You wait, the snow will hit and the price will shoot up again. It's normally this time of year that they fetch a bit more.

It's the perfect time to buy a few to tidy up and then wait for the prices to rise again ;)

I sort of agree. But then again i paid £500 for a 1986 413 maybe 12 years ago. Your still paying that now. And when i bought it, it hadnt been off roaded or rolled sideways down a hill.

So back then that must of been super cheap.

I have noticed a few ebay bargains. But some people seem to be asking daft money too.

Im fully snow prepped. Although the power steering may now have to wait till next month.
