engine options?

Post by james thomas » Sun Oct 28, 2012 6:54 pm

hello, my sj413 engine is about to die, smokes more than a hippy and has as much power as a hair dryer.....also the gearbox is almost dead.... hard to get gears.

anyway, ive been offerd a 1.3 and a 1.6 both with gear boxes. just wondering whats best?

it one of the easiest conversions i would say it could be done in a day if you had all the stuff ready togo!

1.6 all the way! Are you sure your clutch just doesn't need adjusting and oil changing in the gearbox if its hard to select gears?

you can pick up the 8v engines from £0(high miles) to £200(lowmiles) and gear box about£0 to £60 tops!
and people say about the conversion plate about not using one personally i would use one there about £60 tops ;)
