1600 16v on carb?

Yeah but with an SU you can just take it off and clean it all out in half an hour ;)

As long as you put the ECU in a sensible place up high then they are just as good in deep water as any other petrol engine!

If I was to fit a 16V I would run the MPFI without question!

Yeah maybe me too under usual circumstances, but Tims 16v SU engine was too much to resist! :)

Twists are the 16 v inlets the same as 8v?

No they aren't.

Any pics of the distributor conversion?

Hi,

I havent got that many pics but here we go....
Basically Tim has attached the majority of a samurai dizzy onto the base of the 16v vitara dizzy...
He's also had to put the distributor shaft on the other side of the camshaft gear so it spins the dizzy the right way round

Just a small note. SU carbs are brilliant and work very well in most conditions and weird angles.

Not so good if they have no dash pot screws in though are they Twiss?
