give jap 4x4 a ring they are very good and their postage is very quick, and if you order the full set of 4 springs they will put them all in as one package so you should save some money on postage, and because your spending so much they might even give you a little discount i buy all the parts i need from them...

Thats a cheap enough price. Get em ordered. Be good to see how much lift you get.
Try and remember to measure all you ground clearances before and after you fit. I just curious how much we lost on tired old springs compared to new standard springs.

Overall price for all four springs including bushes, plus the extra shackle bush for each spring and delivery came to £324.

I'm just looking at U-bolts on Llama 4x4 and it says that they used 10mm u-bolts on earlier SJs. I presume this will include mine because mine is a Jap built type 2?
Will 12mm ones fit?

If your just being gentle the 10mm should be fine. Been on for 25+ years with out any major issue.
If you were going to abuse it for the same of redrilling a few holes i'd fit the 13mm bolts. I know the. I've replaced bolts on mine anywhere. Bumpers, mounts or anything i've fabbed up i've always gone minimum 13mm with plenty of reinforcement to stop them pulling through.

Alright then, I'll stick with standard then. The old rusty 10mm ones have coped fine with the abuse they've had so I don't think the upgrade would be worth bothering with.

Grrr! The bank keeps trying to block the transactions for the springs and u-bolts from Jap4x4 and Llama 4x4 respectively.

Lesgofors springs arrived this afternoon from Jap4x4spares. All clean and grey, fitted with poly-bushes too. The shackle bushes were packed between the two front springs and I'm not sure if they're normal rubber or black polys because they feel like the poly bushes in the springs. U bolts should arrive tomorrow and with a bit of luck I'll fit them Friday night.
Must try and remember to measure the ride height somehow, before and after. I'm thinking either floor to sill or floor to chassis.
Rear bump stops appear to be gold-dust. The poly front ones seem to be easy enough to find but the only rear ones I could find on the web were in Australia.
