thats what im thinking, maybe if someone that has done it could oint us in the right direction, what body to use? what parts are needed, maybe a parts list of some sort... that would be greatly appreciated and would make it so much easier...

You can use any chassis you want, I used the losi mini Rock crawler because the wheelbase was about right for the 1/10 body, it had live axles front and rear and it was relatively cheap (compared to some rc models). I've already listed the main parts on my mini suzuki, a Losi mini rock crawler rc model, a speedway pal jimny body product code PEO14 and a set of 1.55 wheels from rc4wd.com, the chassis I made myself using 3mm aluminium, and some 3mm stainless steel nuts &bolts, that tamiya 1:10 body looks good but I wouldn't know how well it would fit on a MRC because I've never had one, I imagine as its 1:10 it would fit on just about perfectly, if it doesn't you can adjust the axle linkages to suit the wheelbase longer or shorter

I'm looking forward to an rc build thread now, keep us updated

Edit* they do have MRC's on ebay

I bought mine second hand which made it cheaper
