Why can't you get the bull bar off?
There's three ways of doing things:
The right way,
The wrong way
And my way, which is like the wrong way but faster.

Re: My suzuki getting her back to running condition
be careful with painting engine components as if you spray something like a rocker cover or anything that gets hot it will burn off, and it smells badly lol, you want to use VHT paint (Very High Temperature) i used it to paint my calipers and drums, but when you give ya drums a good beating to get them off the paint peels off lol...

Most VHT paint is cak! I've used loads of different brands on my exhaust silencer. Good for 750 degrees. Just flakes off after a few weeks.
No longer gonna waste my time painting it. Soon as i have cash gonna get a stainless system made.
That heat shield will be back to a rusty piece of tin within weeks regardless of paint used. Thats if the Zuk is used regularly.
One paint i haven't tried yet is pot black. Chopper lads used to use it to paint the blocks and manifolds on custom bikes. Don't know if it's still available but a mate of mine who has bikes says it's spot on.
