No compression at all? You sure there's a piston in there?
There's a few things can cause a pressure leak. Piston rings, valve not shutting properly, head not bolted down evenly, head gasket and, worst case scenario, cracks in the head or block. Might be more but I was just bouncing ideas off the top of my head.

There's three ways of doing things:
The right way,
The wrong way
And my way, which is like the wrong way but faster.

Re: My sooki vit! fatboy Lenny!
Ok help! the engine is missing, i've rebuilt the head as there was half the amout of compression as there was the rest in cylinder 4. (this is what the mechanic told me i think he was after the job) anyway i rebuilt it and its still missing as far as i can tell the compression is ok, (testing tomorrow) i dont have any fire in cylinder 2, we tried swapping the leads and its the same. what could cause a misfire? the head was fine, i reseated the valves, new headgasket, and its still missing on cylinder 2. (2nd from the front) Help!! its doing my nut shall i start by changing distributer and leads?
Thanks in advance!
Thanks in advance!

Try swapping the plug for another. Then try new leads, dizzy cap and rotor arm
