Oil Pressure / Vacumn

I have now got to the point I have done everything else now so I now need to sort these problems out.
Start her up oil pressure light stays on rev or tick over it stays on I would like to think the engine is not Buggered as i Stripped and rebuilt and everything seemed fine ( Cross Fingered) any thoughts I will buy a oil pressure gauge to confirm but for now just want to resolve.

Next problem I have gone the SU route and it all seems good to be honest it has not run for 3 weeks and today first turn of the engine fired straight up.Timing has been adjusted to 10 deg before Top Centre.The problem she seems to struggle to rev above approx 2000rpm I noticed today there does not seem to be any Suction trouble is Im not sure how much there should be,if there is no suction would that mean the timing is not adjusting thus stopping her revving does this make sense ???????????

Try changing the sender on the block, I had same sort of problem and this sorted it
