I am at the moment trying to sell my old HAM radio, and want to buy a cb radio for my truck with the money I make . Hello!, Alot of us guys run the standard (i believe) CB radios in our trucks like in mine i have a CB. but in my lawn rover i have CB radio and a UHF aswell only because my dad does showground secruity and thats the band they broadcast on. but i think its a matter of choice.
i would just go for a CB but your fellow rig drivers over they may use a different radio!
like i said i would go for a CB because on a clear night you can scan them for miles!

I thought most folk used 27Mhz FM
