Yeh I think I'm with you. So if I lined them up so the bolts are in same place. Ill do this as there not lined up at the min. I didn't relise this would affect it ill line them up and go from there

If you pull the shaft apart there should be marks to match up, obviously you only need to unbolt one end to move the shaft into the right position

In phase means that the yokes are lined up correctly, like in this pic.
